Reports
How we report
Every year we write down what we ran, who took part and what we learned. Below is a short version of each report.
Partners, funders and journalists can ask us for the full report, our counting method and our list of schools.
2020 and 2021: the first year
Tech Now Global began on 16 October 2020 with a three-week class in Apa, Badagry West: computer basics, the internet and Microsoft Office. 300 young people signed up and 230 finished. The class ended with “Our Digital Future”, a dialogue where participants worked on digital problems in their own community.
In 2021 we took the work into schools. With Teens World Empowerment, and sponsored by Agility CMS, we spent five days in each of Badagry, Ajegunle and Agege, five schools per city, and trained over 1,000 students. We also built websites for more than 15 schools so they could be found online.
2022 to 2024: building the programmes
In July 2022 we registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as an Incorporated Trustee (IT 184262).
TECNIT, our technology and entrepreneurship bootcamp for students, began in 2022. The Tech Immersion and Incubation Program followed in 2023 and the TADASA summer camp in 2024. In 2024 we also ran the CTEACH bootcamp with Ashoka, training teachers to hand the lead to their students.
One BTech participant went on to found Circles and became a Millennium Fellow.
2025: annual report
In 2025 we reached more than 3,500 young people through direct training and outreach, and grew from Badagry to Mushin.
In April we toured Badagry schools with the Lagos State Government on digital adoption. The TECNIT cohort learned React, front-end development and digital marketing, and graduates began to find gig work and internships. On 21 October we marked five years with the launch of Anfani, and on 6 December Badagry hosted the second Mega Changemakers Conference.

How we count
The 30,000+ people we have reached since October 2020 is cumulative participation, taken from enrolment and attendance records. Someone who joins two programmes is counted twice.
A school is counted once, however many times we return. There are 102 on our list, across 32 communities. We share the list and the method with any funder who asks.
